The 2nd annual, Bollinger Canyon Elementary School Locks of Love event was a huge success. Fourteen very generous people stepped up to have their beautiful long hair cut and donated to Locks of Love. Teachers, Students and Moms donated over 12 feet of hair altogether.

Scientists have identified a gene that may raise the risk of getting the most common kind of Alzheimer’s disease by about 45 percent in people who inherit a certain form of it.
Fresno State wins National Championship
Fresno State went from underdogs to “wonderdogs” on its way to a most unlikely national championship. The Bulldogs (47-31) from California not only showed they belonged, they showed they were the best, even though no previous national champion had more losses. The national title was the second in school history.
