The 2nd annual, Bollinger Canyon Elementary School Locks of Love event was a huge success. Fourteen very generous people stepped up to have their beautiful long hair cut and donated to Locks of Love. Teachers, Students and Moms donated over 12 feet of hair altogether.
Locks of Love is a public, non-profit, organization that provides wigs to children who lose their hair due to medical conditions. It takes 10 inches of hair to make a wig, but they accept up to 6 inches. Becki Nardi from Weeds Salon in Oakland did all the haircutting.
